World Cup winner, German international and Arsenal superstar Mesut Ozli, paid a surprise visit to QK on Wednesday 30th November.   

Mesut surprised a few students who were preparing for a football session and joined them on the field.  Afterwards, Mesut sat down with the students and gave them an inspirational insight to his life growing up as a young boy, offering advice on how to stay focused, set goals and work towards them.   This was a truly influential and  exhilarating event for all the students involved, thanks to everyone who made it happen including the Laureus project, Hornstars and those at school.

While Mesut was at QK he was interviewed by Matthew Syed of The Times, author of Bounce and Black Box thinking.
