INSET Days for Staff
This year we are having a staggered start for some year groups, please read below to find out when your child is starting.  Students are expected to arrive on time and in full and correct school uniform on their designated day.

Monday 5th September – Years 7, 11 and 12

Year 7 are expected to be on site at 8.40. Gates will open as normal at 8am with Magic breakfast available to all. Year 7 will be greeted at the gate and directed to the Auditorium where they will meet their Head of Community and tutor. Year 7 students will stay with their Community tutor for periods 1 and 2.

Year 11 are expected to be on site at the start of break at 10.55.  Year 11 will join their Community tutor and group for Period 3.

Tuesday 6th September

Years 8, 9, 10 and 13 start with normal lessons throughout the day.

Term 1 Monday 5 September 2016 to Friday 21st October 2016 Year 7, 11 and Year 12 start on Monday 5th September Years 8, 9 , 10 and 13 start on Tuesday 6th September

Term 2 Monday 31st October 2016 to Friday 16th December 2016

Term 3 Thursday 5th January 2017 to Friday 10th February 2017

Term 4 Monday 20th February 2017 to Friday 31st March 2017 – Students finish at 12.50pm

Term 5 Tuesday 18th April 2017 to Friday 26th May 2017

Term 6 Monday 5th June 2017 to Friday 21st July 2017

Holidays

All family holidays should be taken during the school holidays. In accordance with current legislation, holidays in term time cannot be authorised. In exceptional circumstances, applications for in-term absences will be considered. Applications should be made through Student Services
