The workplace environment is increasingly competitive, employers demand more of new employees than simply a set of strong qualifications.  QK has responded to this for a number of years by providing an unrivaled offer of enrichment and careers opportunities, all designed to make our students the most employable that they can be.

We see QK as more than an exams factory and seek to provide a pathway beyond our students’ time in the 6th form.  It is our aim to build students’ experiences and skills beyond the classroom so that they have an impressive CV to offer any potential employer.

Our ethos is one whereby our 6th form students are presented with opportunities and it is up to them to take advantage.  This better models what students can expect when they leave school in the real employment market, students must be proactive!

At the center of our offer is the Corporate Liaison and Careers team who are closely networked with a range of employers and brokering organisations external to QK.   Once opportunities are made available we make our students aware through the Google Enrichment Classroom.    

We also provide and encourage direct access to a number of brokering firms’ platforms and databases, these firms provide employment assistance and a range of employment opportunities.
