Humanities
The Key Stage 3 Humanities’ Curriculum allows students to explore key issues in History, Geography and Religious Education that helps them to understand their place in the world. Structured around the Humanities timeline students access a cross-curricular programme that asks big questions of our young people such as ‘How should we remember World War One’ (Year 8), ‘Why is Africa the most diverse continent in the world’, (Year 8), and ‘Why do people have different beliefs?” (Year 8). These topics and questions stretch students’ thinking, develop their analytical skills and give them the subject-specific skills and knowledge to make a flying start to their History, Geography and RE GCSEs.

Geography and History are being edited and will follow soon.
