On Thursday 3 March, some of our Year 10 D of E students went to St John’s Wood Park to put up their bird boxes, that they have been making here at school over the past few weeks. If you are passing the park (opposite Lord’s Cricket ground), please head to the wildlife section and see the work the students have done.
The park keeper was very impressed with the way they composed themselves in and around the park, as well as how well made their boxes were.
As the students draw near to the end of their volunteering for the award, not only has the work that they have done in the local community been very impressive, the feedback from the community has been fantastic, stating that they are great role models for the school
