School Meals

Quintin Kynaston is keen to ensure that we create a first class dining experience for our students over the course of their education. The school day is structured to allow Years 7 to 9 and Years 10 to 13 to have use of the dining facilities at separate times, with no crossover in queuing.

At break time, students can choose from a range of breakfast options including fruit, wholemeal toast, cereal, yoghurt and porridge. At lunchtimes there a several different options available include a hot meal, fast food option, salad options, Panini and sandwiches. Visitors to the school often comment on the high standard of food on offer.

Students are encouraged to try something new each day and to think carefully about the food choices they are making. Nutritional statements for each of our dishes are available so that students can make informed decisions about what they are eating. The catering team is more than happy to cater for the dietary requirements of individual students and parents are asked to contact reception, if this is the case.

Quintin Kynaston operates a cashless dining experience with students using their finger images to pay for food at the tills. Students can top up their accounts in an emergency at revaluing stations in school. Parents and Carers should use ParentPay to recharge their child’s accounts online.
