GCSE examination results have shown a slight improvement moving to 55% 5 A*-C including English and mathematics. This follows the second consecutive record Sixth Form results last week. A news article from West End Extra is here.
Headteacher Alex Atherton said “congratulations to all students and thank you to all members of staff for all their hard work. Last year our results held when the national picture showed a significant fall. The early indications this year are that QK has bucked the national trend again. Examinations are getting harder yet we are maintaining our standards.”
