Proactively Preparing Students for the Career That They Want
In preparation for the workplace Quintin Kynaston ensures that all students have access to independent career advice and guidance and much, much more. Students undertake a range of activities through a reflective employability curriculum. The curriculum includes two compulsory work experience placements and access to a huge range internships, guru lectures, masterclasses, visits and bespoke events tailored to their preparation for the workplace.
We are able to undertake this level of interaction with external supporters because of a strong ethos of actively engaging through a Corporate Advisory Board of key partners. This forum represents our wider network of supporters, all of whom contribute to our Work Related Learning and Careers curriculum.
Uniquely Strong and Highly Relations with Brokering Organisations and Corporate Partners
Quintin Kynaston is proud to have globally recognisable Corporate Liaison partners with socially responsible links to the school that are uniquely developed in both depth and impact. These Corporate Liaison relationships benefit the entire school community and make Quintin Kynaston the envy of other educational institutions. We are also accredited by Investors in Careers.
Our reputation for excellence, in providing independently driven, well-prepared and professionally-minded students, is at the source of our ability to build strong relations with key corporate partners and non-profit brokering organisations. These partners provide work based opportunities for our students. In many cases we are the first choice school for pilot schemes and projects enabling us to be at the forefront of student professional development in UK secondary schools.
