PSHCE
Students have one period of PSHCE per week from year 7 to year 10.
In year 7 they will begin learning a variety of personal and emotional skills such as etiquette, hygiene, how to deal with bullying and body image pressures.
In year 8 they will be researching various human rights and undergoing a volunteer project in relation to a human right of their choosing. They will also be learning about gangs, knife crime and the law.
The year 9 PSHCE program focuses largely on money management, employability and the options process for GCSE.
The year 10 curriculum places a large emphasis on careers and prepares students for work experience and planning for their future.
