Ten thousand Vivo rewards have been awarded in the last
week, all of them one at a time. That says much about the
positive start we have made to the new school year. There is
already some competition between and within year groups and
the evidence of last Friday is that many members of staff are
keen to clear their allocation before the week ends. Long may
that continue.
The pictures below of the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze
Assessment Expedition show a huge success. This is no easy
qualification to gain and these students have shown
considerable resilience. Congratulations to all!
Finally almost the whole of year 8 attended a performance of
the Lion King on Wednesday afternoon. It is another example
of how we are striving to broaden our curriculum provision,
following the trip to Stubbers last term. What next?
